Whensday is an iPhone app for making plans with friends. It puts your calendar and your friends' calendars side by side, so you can see when everyone's actually free before you suggest a time. You create an event, invite people, and they RSVP from a link without installing anything.

It connects to Google Calendar and Apple Calendar, and friends only ever see the hours you're busy, never what you're doing.
